Project catch up

I have been working on (have alluded to this many times) a big project for someone and have been rendering out a number of scenes. Many of the new ships and rebuilds have been for this effort. Here is one of the comps from the weekend. This is a ‘wide screen’ version of the scene as the final needed to fit into a smaller area.

  1. I know I commented earlier, but I took a closer look at the Museum timeline… the D5 was first launched in 2225, the Hyperion was decommissioned in 2229, being 30+ years old. The D5’s top speed is more than twice the Hyperion’s. The Hyperion has dinky old lasers and a handful of missiles, the D5 is a brand-new kick-ass warship.

There’s probably a lot of soiled underwear on the poor Theia’s bridge right now!
